I'll speak to a jewellery store owner that I know the next time I see him and report back with any interesting information if I get it.

CheersClarenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464235049105190628.post-84974522358748202452010-08-08T07:59:10.306-04:002010-08-08T07:59:10.306-04:00This is in response to the previous comment.

However, your statement about the hardness of this piece runs against 100% silver.

If you have a contact in the jewelry business, this might something they have seen before and could give you a better answer.Silver Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08842618852822028709noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2464235049105190628.post-43866911409575667882010-08-06T13:24:35.480-04:002010-08-06T13:24:35.480-04:00I have a question about a cuff bracelet that I rec...I have a question about a cuff bracelet that I recently acquired from an estate. It is obviously sterling silver, in good shape though darker in colour (which may be patina?). Where something like this would normally have a "925" stamp, this cuff has a "1000" stamp. I feels like normal sterling - that is to say that it is not softer in any way. Would you know anything about this? I could try to provide a picture if that would help. Just let me know.

Many thanks in advance for any information you are able to provide!

Cheers!Clarenoreply@blogger.com
